This module is about systems such as air-conditioning
system, fire protection system and many more. Basically, the topics in this
subject are more to theory to make us understand how the system works. We will
have a mid term test consisting of 20% and a group assignment of 30% and the
remaining for final exam for this module.
The group assignment given was to go for a site visit at the
high rise building we have chosen as a group to gather the information of fire
protection system in that particular building. We faced some difficulties when
requesting permission for the site visit to buildings and therefore I’ve learn
to analyse the problems and come up with effective ideas of solutions. We faced

of solutions. Site visiting for the system and pump in the basement and roof
was an eye-opening experience for me. It was a good chance for me to see the
system through assignment so that I understand more of how fire protection
system operates. To accomplish this assignment, teamwork and communication
skills play an important role. To complete the task, we will have to work collaboratively
to develop a good report and make the site visit success. Moreover,
communication skills is therefore very important for a group of people who
needs to work together. Thus, I have improved my communication skills as well
as interpersonal skills.
